Dive The Florida Keys are Clear!

7 Days and 6 Nights in the beautiful Keys or the Conch Republic. The Keys package includes roundtrip SFO/MIA airfare, lodging, shared rental car, BBQ, diving, tank rental and guided island tours. Min 8 divers to run the trip. This can all be yours for only $2195.00* Non Diver rate is $1795.00 Deposit of $900 required by January 15, 2011. *Deposit not refundable once airfare is purchased. Balance of the fees is due by February 15, 2011. *Trip rates are subject to airline market rates. Dates may vary due to airline schedules. Call me if you have frequent flyer rewards to use. Nitrox, HE, O2 are extra. 10 divers gets us a private dive vessel ATTN TECH DIVERS: We have the option of 2 tech dives for those carrying advanced nitrox and deco certs. Qualified divers can carry sling bottles to extend their bottom time. Dive beautiful, healthy sites like Molasses, Victory and Pickles Reefs. Part of the Coral Reef State Park and home to schooling grunts, giant jewfish, angels, lobsters and eels. Look closely for the flamingo tongue cowries on the fans and banded coral shrimps in the cracks. Great dives for the macro photo enthusiasts. Visit Alligator Reef marked by the 136’ Lighthouse. This reef is named for the USS Alligator that ran aground in 1822 while protecting a convoy from pirates. There are 3 resident green morays on this site. Looking for more than beautiful, tropical reef fish, rays, eels, lobsters and sharks, – well got wrecks too. Dive the Eagle; the 287’ freighter lies on her starboard side in 110’. The Duane, an old Coast Guard Cutter that stands upright in 120’. The top of the crows nest is 60’ from the surface. This is an intermediate to advanced wreck. Also the sister vessel, the Bibb, lies on her side in 120’. Let’s not forget the Spiegal Grove. But it doesn’t stop there, there are nice wall dives too. Crocker Wall or Conch Wall offer greater depths, larger fish, black coral, giant groupers, and huge barrel sponges. Daytime air temp range 75-80 degrees F. Water temps are 78-81 degrees with 70+ foot visibility on most days. 3mm to 5 mm full wetsuit are recommended. If planning the tech dives, a 7mm is suggested. Many of the sites are great snorkel dives. *Dive sites vary and are dependent on sea conditions. We fly to Miami and rent cars to travel the 66 miles along the scenic ocean drive on US 1 to the Keys. Tavernier, mile marker 90.5, marks the spot. We have special lodging accommodations with Ocean Point Condos. Stay in one of the air conditioned 2-bedroom luxury condos equipped with full kitchen, 2 baths, washer/dryer, and private balcony overlooking tropical foliage and the Atlantic Ocean. Lodging fees, based on double occupancy. The Keys offer great “topside” activities. Cool off in the on-site pool, catch some sun on the beach, relax in the spa, or paddle around in a canoe or bottom viewing kayak. Oh yes, the area offers some great shopping. Explore the Key’s famous Shell Craft Shop or the tropical wear and décor shops. Visit the great restaurants for local seafood specialties. Drive 10 miles down to Marathon Key for more exploring.
